The new cycle repair station and pump delivered by Turvec to Worcester University this week will help keep cyclists moving across the campus. The University already has 423 secure cycle parking spaces across St John's campus and increasing their cycling infrastructure will encourage more students and staff to cycle to campus. Repair stands are a particularly beneficial at universities because students may not always have access to a garage or the tools to repair their bicycle during term time.
Turvec's cycle repair station includes an integrated pump with pressure gauge and a variety of tools; Cross head screwdriver, flathead screwdriver, 3 way allen key, 3 way socket, 150mm adjustable spanner, chain tool, torx key, needle nose pliers, 2 x metal tyre levers. The structure provides a stable workstation for cyclists to inflate tyres, make repairs and tune their bicycle.
